About
The broad range of sound that a Schmidt horn is capable of producing has always captivated my imagination. From a velvety piano to a ringing fortissimo the Schmidt style horn is flexible enough to play the full spectrum of sound required by modern horn players. The problem of the Schmidt design has always been the ergonomics that are a result of the piston. By replacing the piston with rotor it is possible to preserve the sound and look of Schmidt's design while improving the comfort of the instrument. This has been my overriding principal in designing and building my horns. For more information, please contact me below.
